Chicago, IL – (October 19, 2021) – The University of the Virgin Islands Basketball Classic announces that the games will be held at the UVI Sports & Fitness Center on the campus of Orville E. Kean Campus in St. Thomas.
The Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament will showcase a total of five colleges and universities, including four Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Participants include Arkansas Baptist College, Hutson-Tillotson University, Warner University, Wilberforce University and The University of the Virgin Islands.
12 games will take place from November 3rd through 5th, viewers can watch the broadcast live on HBCUDIGITAL.COM including HBCU DIGITAL Mobile App and OTT platforms Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, and Android TV. The tournament continues HBCU DIGITAL NETWORK commitment to delivering Black Voices through sports, entertainment, education, and original programming.

The Classic will be a part of the week-long celebration during Buccaneers’ Homecoming, giving HBCU administrators, supporters, and alumni an awesome backdrop for a convention style gathering that will allow for meaningful conversations, culture, and networking.
